Anyone who lives in or has visited Rotterdam, with even a little taste for fun and fashion, knows that Witte de Withstraat is the place to be. It has everything you need for an evening out in this dynamic Dutch port city and is a tourist hotspot. This attraction comes with some challenges. Due to the city’s increasing popularity, there is a greater demand for hospitality space.
This city hotel answers this challenge, but provides that much more. Working alongside an intrepid Rotterdam developer, P·A's designed a multi-functional hospitality project with even more 'extra' than this lively street already has in abundance. With a swinging rooftop bar and swimming pool, cafe, coffeeshop, art gallery, terrace, and hotel, it's Rotterdam in one building: both a great place to explore, and an attraction for locals and visitors alike. Only a short ramble from other city center amenities, it is the place to meet and mix.
P·A has maximized this tight inner city plot to pull out all the stops: excavating to make space for a spacious, double-height gallery in the basement, discretely inserting the coffeeshop between floors to give it that club house, place-apart feel, designing a hotel with great views and amenities, and adding a fourth floor to top it out with a rooftop bar and swimming pool overlooking this pulsing street.
Summer nights in our Roffa will never be the same. Is Witte de Withstraat ready for this?
We think so.
