We are always designing new housing solutions for forgotten spots in the city. Hoping to transform these with our own development branch or inspire others to do so. We regularly pitch our ideas to investors, the municipality and housing corporations. The idea for these 'dakwoningen' was pitched for housing corporation Woonstad inspired by their new campaign.
ten dwellings on top of the existing building, each with their own large sunny terrace
the houses add another interesting layer to the existing cityscape in the centre of Rotterdam
the individual houses are slightly translated providing each terrace with enough privacy
together with one installation zone and the greenhouse, the ten houses form a small village on top of the existing building
view from the living room on the museum park and Erasmus hospital
communal terrace which serves as a greenhouse to grow crops as well
